摘　　要：我国高等教育自学考试的发展历程和性质特点,与终身教育的终身化、全民性和灵活性有着相通之处。在新形势下,高等教育自学考试要走出发展困境,就必须自觉以终身教育理论引领自身的改革与发展,践行终身教育理念,以最大限度地满足全体人民"学有所教"的迫切希望。The development history and characteristics of the self- study exam of China＇ s higher education have simi- larity with the lifelong, universal and flex education. In the new situation, the self- study exam of higher education, to get out of a dilemma, must carry out the principle of lifelong education theory leading its reform and development, fulfill the concept of lifelong education and make maximumly the people＇ s urgent hope of teaching for learning come true.
