摘　　要：回顾翻译历史,能够揭示:翻译如何借助异域文本促成本土文化身份;译本如何通过特定文学话语构建权威主体,催生新的特定文学形式,并促进这种文学形式发展。本文以中国翻译史上的3次文学翻译高潮为脉络,具体分析不同时期翻译文学对本土小说文学的影响以及对小说文学新形式的塑造作用,探讨翻译文学在我国文学史上的重要地位和作用。Translation as a way of cultural negotiation could help promote local cultural identity with the introduction of alien languages and cultures and have great impact on the literature history. The article discusses the three tides of Chinese history of translation and analyzes the shaping effect of literary translation on the birth, growth and innovation of Chinese fictions in its form, language and theme. It concludes that translation activities could bring forth the new literary forms and stimulate the development of litera- ture expressions.
