摘　　要：在《红楼梦》中,曹雪芹运用大量颜色词使其作品富于美感,他通过准确、生动、具体、灵活地描写服饰,成功地塑造人物个性,使读者达到身临其境的效果。将杨宪益《红楼梦》英译本中的服饰颜色词翻译实例分类,讨论服饰颜色词的翻译。其中包括基本颜色词,实物颜色词和其他不同概念的特殊颜色词翻译。The dress aesthetics in A Dream of Red Mansions is closed to the nature. CAO Xueqin utilizes quite a few of color words and makes his literary work more artistic so that the readers can catch the picture of the author＇s in their mind as if they were in the situation which the author describes. Meanwhile, it makes the description more accurately, vividly, specifically and flexibly. This article deals with the classification of different types of dress color words in YANG Xianyi and Gladys Yang＇s translation of A Dream of Red Mansions and the translation of dress color words, including the translation of the basic color words, object color words and special color words with other concepts.
