摘  要:员工的英语水平对星级酒店综合服务水平的提高有着重要意义,但是多数酒店由于培训不得要领,导致员工英语能力始终得不到有效的提升。酒店首先要重视员工英语能力的培养,注重英语培训师的选用,有层次地实施培训方案,建立合理的激励机制,使员工的英语学习能够变为自觉自愿的行为,最终带动酒店涉外服务水平的大幅提高。Staff's English ability has great influence on the overall service quality of star-hotels. Many hotels are unable to improve their staff's English level effectively due to the lack of proper training methods. The hotel management should attach more importance to English training and make careful selection of the trainer. The training plan should be carried out in sensible sequence, and establishing motivation mechanism and changing the staff's mentality are of great significance as well.
