摘　　要：历史学和考古学界对渤海国史研究历史长,成果也相当丰富。其中,同地理学相关的研究也取得了一定的成就。但是到目前为止,渤海史研究中利用GIS等现代地理学研究方法的研究甚少。地理学视角下的渤海国研究能够拓宽渤海史研究领域;为渤海史研究提供新的研究方法和手段;制作渤海历史地图,为渤海史研究提供有效的工具;有利于保护和丰富边疆少数民族地区的文化历史旅游资源;对增进中、朝、韩、俄、日间的学术交流等方面具有重要意义。Researches on Bohai Kingdom have achieved a lot in the fields of history, archaeology and geography. However, methods in modern geography such as GIS have not been fully ap- plied to the present researches. More new fields will be explored, new methods and tools will be provided, for instance, making the maps of the Kingdom in history if the researches are carried out with a geographical perspective. This will also be helpful to protect and enrich the cultural and historical resources for border tourism and strenghten the academic exchange among China, DPRK, ROK, Russia and Japan.
