摘 要:目前学界在研究翻译本体论时普遍预设了翻译本体的存在,并认为翻译本体论就是对翻译本体的研究。追本溯源,从本体(Being)的两个意思,即"是"和"是者"来看,翻译本体都是一个伪命题,翻译本体论也就自然不能被理解成是有关翻译本体的理论。翻译本体论实际上指的是用本体论的思维方式来研究翻译,这种思路在理论上预设了原文意义的永恒在场,译者的任务便是透过原文的文字表述,抽离出原文的意义,并让意义在译文中如其所是地出场。In current ontological studies of translation,the Being of translation is presupposed and ontological studies of translation is regarded as the studies of the Being of translation.According to the two meanings of Being,however,the Being of translation is a concept that does not hold water.Therefore,the ontological studies of translation should not be seen as the studies of the Being of translation.It actually refers to the studies of translation in the thinking mode of ontology.Theoretically,this perspective presupposes the presence of the meaning of original texts and therefore,the task of translator is to extract the original meaning and make it present in target texts as it is.
