摘　　要：针对地方院校车辆工程专业建设与发展过程的问题,从专业定位、师资队伍建设、教学研究与改革、教学条件建设与质量管理等方面进行了探讨。以邵阳学院为例,结合地方经济和汽车产业发展特点,对该校车辆工程专业建设思路和办学特色进行分析,为地方高校车辆工程专业建设及特色的形成具有一定的参考意义。For the construction and development problem of vehicle engineering speciality in local colleges, it was discussed from the ways of speciality orientation, construction of teaching staff, teaching research and reform, construction of teaching conditions, quality management and so on. Taken Shaoyang university as an example and based on the devel- opment situation of local economy and automobile industry, the construction thought and the school-running feature of ve- hicle engineering were analyzed. It has some reference meaning on speciality construction and characteristics formation of vehicle engineering in local colleges.
