1920年代初京师大学教师索薪运动的历史考察——基于权利维护的视角

摘　　要：1920年代初,京师教育界发生了震惊全国的索薪运动。大学教师被迫选择了联合起来组成教职员联席会,通过法律诉求和停职、罢教等运动,以维护其自身合法权益,同时,充分利用社会舆论寻求民间支持,挑战政府统治的合法性基础。在政治实力的对比中,大学教师虽然受到自身权力属性的限制,最终选择互助、兼职和流动等途径以保障其生活,但此次运动中成立的教职员联席会开民国大学教师维权组织之先河,影响了京师教育事业后期的发展;索薪运动的开展还引发了教育独立的大讨论。In the early 1920s, Beijing educational circles＇ asking-for-salary campaign em- bodied that university teachers protected their legal rights by using civil rights. University teachers were forced to make an alliance against the government. In order to safeguard their own legal rights and interests, they accused the government and resigned and struck. Mean- while, they also took advantage of social media to seek civil support, which would challenge the legitimacy of government＇s rule. Though, comparing the power of teacher＇s union with the government, university teachers had their own moral constraints, and they had to choose mutual assistance, part-time jobs or departure to maintain their livelihood. The teacher＇s u- nion started a road to protect university teachers＇ civil rights in Republic of China. Moreo- ver, asking-for-salary campaign sparked the great discussion of independence of education.
