摘 要:随着公共英语考试的不断改革,作为专门用途英语的医学英语也面临着考试的改革。医学英语教学目的是期望医学生们能够达到采用英语在医疗行业中顺畅交流和应用。此目的决定了医学英语考试由注重知识到注重应用的转变。从而决定了变革内容包括了考试的主体(谁来考)、客体(来考谁)、方式方法和内容等各个方面。考试的主体由传统的任课教师变革为整个教研室成员成立的命题委员会。考试的客体由传统的学生单方面作为客体变革为教师、学生均为考试对象。考试方法由传统的卷面考试变革为过程性考评与终结性评估并用,口试、笔试多方法并用。考试内容应兼顾传统英语考试同时体现临床医学的特点,考评学生医学英语的实际应用能力。With the reform of Public English Test, Medical English, as a English for medical purposes or English for medical sciences, should also be improved with the Medical English examination reform. Medical students learn Medical English in order to communicate with foreign doctors in English. Therefore, the Medical English examination should focus on the usage of Medical Eng- lish, not on the knowledge itself. Thus, reform should be performed on the following: who are examiners, who are examinees, how to examine and what to be examined. Examiners should include all the English teachers besides the one who teaches the students. Examinees should include English teachers as well as students. Various methods should be used on the examination including periodic assessment, summative assessment and so on. How to use Medical English in different medical situations should be examined most. Exam content should take into account the traditional English exam and embody the characteristics of clinical medicine at the same time and Review students' medical English application ability.
