摘  要:晚清的贵州人文生态环境由于受到地理环境的限制而呈封闭、落后状态。19世纪末,严修和李端棻是贵州力倡西学的有力播种者和传播者。但因为贵州此时的新式教育依旧步履蹒跚、命运多舛致使西学的倡导曲高和寡。自林绍年任贵州巡抚后,大力倡导兴办教育,遂产生了1905年贵州近代史上最大规模的留日学生队伍。这当中就有几位少数民族学生,他们是贵州政治和军事教育近代化的关键"构件"之一,对贵州近代文明的建构和生长具有结构性的作用。Due to geographical constraints, the humanities ecological environment of Guizhou in the late Qing Dynasty was quite closed and backward. At the end of the Nineteenth Century, Yan Xiu and Li Du- anfen were powerful seedsmen and communicators tenaciously advocating spreading western learning late Qing Dynasty term for western natural and social sciences) in Guizhou. But the new education in then Guizhou was still teetering and its sufferings of many mishaps made the western learning sparkp a the lug too high to be popular. Appointed the governor of Guizhou, Lin Shaonian vigorously promoted education, resulting in largest - scaled batch of students Guizhou modem history going to study in Japan, among whom there were several minority students, who became one of the key "components" of modem political and military education in Guizhou, playing a structural role in the construction of Guizhou modem civili- zation and growth
