摘　　要：留学生教育作为衡量各国高等教育国际化发展的重要依据,日益受到各国政府及高校的高度重视。美国在留学生教育发展中已取得了显著成就,其在政府政策层面的支持及所采取的可行措施对我国发展外国留学生教育事业颇有借鉴意义。As an important indicator of measuring the globalized development of higher education in different countries, the education on overseas students is given higher attention by governments, colleges and universities in various nations. With the considerable a- chievements in the education on overseas students, the political supports and practicable measures adopted in America can be of refer- ence in China＇s development of education on overseas students.
