摘　　要：也斯的《爱美丽在屯门》在题材、技巧甚至是对人情的理解与体味上都受到法国电影《天使爱美丽》的启发和影响。但小说重点表现作家本身对香港社会的观察和体验,为旧故事注入新元素。作为"故事新编"体小说,《爱美丽在屯门》既为该类小说开拓了新的表现领域,也对文字和影像的沟通做了另一形式的探索。Amelie from Tuen Mun in the subject matter, techniques and even the human understanding is both inspired and influenced by the French movie Le Fabuleux Destin d＇Amdlie Poulain . But the novel focuses on the expression of writer＇s observation of life and feelings, injecting new elements in the old story as a ＂ tale retold ＂ novel, which develops new performance areas and explores other forms of communica- tion of text and images.
