基于语义韵的英语词汇教学模式探讨——以流行词“小XX”的英译为例

摘　　要：借助COCA语料库,通过对中文口语中"小"对应英译的若干可能方案的搭配词频和语域的分析,推论流行词"小XX"的最佳翻译。分析中通过引入语义韵概念,以流行词等的翻译过程为媒介,探讨英语词汇教学的高效化、亲切化,创新词汇教学模式的可行性。研究发现,有效利用语义韵探析近义词,有利于近义词系列概念整合化、系统化、生动化,从而为近义词习得提供一条新的思路。With the data quoted from COCA,the proper English translation of the Chinese word ＂Xiao＂ is researched from various possibilities approaching from their collocations and registers.With the help of prosody applied in translation of trendy words,the feasibility of a renewed vocabulary teaching method is discussed.According to the research,the analyses of synonyms through understanding of prosody do offer a good help to make the vocabulary learning more systematic and interesting.
