摘　　要：明清章回小说的回目是中国文化特色的绚烂一笔,将其准确通达地介绍给西方读者,有助于中国文化的传播和推广。本文在概括回目特点的基础上,阐释了四条翻译原则,并结合《红楼梦》和《三国演义》的英译本剖析了六种翻译技巧在其回目翻译中的运用。China ’ s classical novels with chapter headings are of great Chinese characteristics .Introducing such novels faithfully , expressively and elegantly?? to western readers can promote Chinese ’ s culture .Here-by this paper probes the four principles and six techniques in the translation of chapter headings based on the analysis of their features .
