文化自觉与中国基础教育改革——基于中美不同文化特质的比较分析

摘　　要：教育建基于文化,教育的变革必然涉及某种文化的变革,因此可以说,教育改革在根本上是一种文化的变革。中美基础教育的改革背后都有各自不同的文化特质,中国基础教育改革只能是在自身文化基础上的变革。中国基础教育改革必须有"文化自觉"意识,在学习美国基础教育改革经验时,只能借鉴,而不应移植。"文化自觉"要求中国基础教育改革冷静分析和学习美国文化,反思、继承本民族文化。Culture is the foundation of education. Educational change involves some cultural change inevitably. It can be said that educational reform is one kind of fundamental cultural change. There are different cultural characteristics of the reform of basic education in both China and United States,therefore, Chinese basic education reform can only be a change on the basis of its＇ own culture. It is necessary to have ＂cultural consciousness＂ in the reform and never transplant but draw from others＇ experiences and it is advisable to analyze and study American culture, to reflect and inherit our traditional culture in our education reform.
