摘 要:从知、情、意、行四个维度出发,AAUP《红皮书》中的美国大学教师专业精神体现为明晓职业权利、追求学术自由、遵循学术伦理、参与集体谈判。大学教师明晓的职业权利包括生存权利和发展权利;追求学术自由让大学教师的专业精神得以显现,教的自由是保护大学教师的教和学生的学的自由的基石,研究自由是真理进步的基石;专业伦理是大学教师对自己必须履行职责的尊重和服从,它包括对学生、同事、学术和大学的责任;参与集体谈判是大学教师维护其专业精神的保障。这四者相互依存、相互作用,构成一个有机整体,共同塑造了美国大学教师的专业精神。According to the interpretation of the Redbook of AAUP, American faculty has their professional spirit representing as cognition, affection, significance and behavior, such as knowing career privileges, pursuing academic freedom, following professional ethics and carrying out collective bargaining. The career privileges of faculty include the rights of survival and development; the pursuing of academic freedom shows the appearance of profes- sional spirit. Professional ethics refers that the faculty must respect and obey their duties, which include the responsibilities for students, colleagues, academic and universities. Carry- ing out collective bargaining is the guarantee for the faculty to maintain their professional spirit. These four aspects are mutually dependent and interacting, forming an organic entity and shaping professional identity and social image of American faculty.
