摘　　要：中华丝绸文明源远流长,是我国对外文化交流中的一张精美名片。本文以中国丝绸博物馆和都锦生织锦博物馆的丝绸展品解说词英译为研究对象,从博物馆展品解说词翻译原则入手,分析译文中存在的问题,并试图对其中部分译文进行重译,以期促进丝绸文物英译的规范与统一。Silk relics as a form of Chinese culture have played an increasingly more important role in the coun- try＇ s cultural exchanges with the rest of the world. This article discusses the principles for translating the com- mentaries on cultural relics. While critiquing some English translations of the commentaries about the cultural relics in China National Silk Museum and Du Jinsheng Brocade Museum, we have also presented our suggested translations.
