论谜米理论对大学英语教学实践的启示

摘　　要：Susan Blackmore提出的谜米理论对大学英语教学实践有以下几方面启示:谜米学意义上的利他行为理论对教师素质提出了要求;谜米复合体理论启示我们公共英语教学要和学生的专业背景、文化背景相结合;谜米的长寿性特征启示我们在单词语法教学中要运用多种策略;谜米的传递方式也对听说教学提出了要求。Memetic theory put forward by Susan Blackmore gives suggestions for ELT in the following aspects： firstly, altruistic behavior theory tells us that we need to enhance the quality of teachers; secondly, meme complex theory shows that college English teaching should dovetail with professional education and cultural teaching; thirdly, meme longevity reveals to us that we should use a variety of grammar and vocabulary teaching strategies; finally, meme＇s transmission mode suggests the importance of input in ELT.
