摘　　要：18世纪英国作家塞缪尔·理查逊的书信体小说《克拉丽莎》揭示了拜金主义价值观对个体性格和社会性格的异化作用。主人公克拉丽莎渴望亲情、渴望平等、渴望人权的精神诉求被湮灭在18世纪席卷英国的经济个人主义物质追求的巨浪中。作家发出对追求个人利益最大化的社会主流话语的诘问,以及对健全人格、健全社会的真诚呼唤。In Clarissa,Samuel Richardson revealed the alienation of individual character and social character owing to money worship. Clarissa＇s appeals for family love, equality and human rights were overwhelmed by the material pursuit of economic individualism sweeping England in the Eighteenth Century. The author besieged the social dominating discourse which advocating the material pursuit of individual interests, and expressed his desire for healthy personality and society.
