摘  要:大学教师发展决定高校教学质量高低和教学改革成败,国际上对大学教师发展的研究正日益凸显。潘懋元先生把握国际动态,结合中国国情对大学教师发展概念进行了清晰界定,揭露其深刻内涵,并对发展方式提出了相关建议。强调发挥大学教师发展的自主性与积极性、倡导终身学习理念、坚持国际视野下的本土化发展是潘先生对大学教师发展的主要特点概括。获得国家级教学成果奖、福建省"杰出人民教师"荣誉称号的潘先生更以自己坚持不懈的学术追求、不断创新的教学方式、崇高的师德风范亲身诠释了大学教师发展的深远意蕴。The faculty development decides the teaching quality of universities and the success or failure of teaching reform.It becomes prominent to study the faculty development internationally.Grasping the international trend,combined with condition of China,Pan Maoyuan clearly defined the concept of faculty development,revealed its deep connotation and put forward related suggestions.Pan Maoyuan's idea has the following main features: emphasize teachers' autonomy and enthusiasm,advocate lifelong learning concept,pay attention to the localization development with international view.Having obtained the national teaching achievement prize,and the title of excellent teacher in Hujian province,he continues to pursue the academic development,reform the teaching mode and has qualities of distinguished morality.He explained the meaning of faculty development by his own practices.
