公示语翻译现状研究——以芜湖市为例

摘　　要：芜湖作为安徽省的经济、文化、政治中心，是国务院批准的沿江重点开放城市、皖江城市带承接产业转移示范区核心城市，外国人口与观光客数量正在迅猛发展，外商投资数量增长迅速。但是，芜湖市的公示语翻译仍有所欠缺，公示语翻译完善化的任务十分迫切。本文从当前芜湖市公共场所汉英公示语翻译现状入手，提出了一些净化公示语语言环境的建议，以期促进芜湖市国际语言环境、人文环境建设的健康发展，提升芜湖市的文明形象，提高芜湖市的软实力。As the economic, cultural and political sub -center in Anhui province, Wuhu is one of the key open cities along the Yangzi River, which was approved by the State Council. It is also among the core cities of industrial transfer demonstration area. Foreign population and the number of tourists in Wuhu are growing rapidly as well as the number of foreign investment. However, public signs translation in Wuhu city is still deficient. It is a very urgent task to perfect translation of public signs. Starting from the current status quo of public signs translation in Wuhu public places, this paper proposed some suggestions of purifying public language in hope of promoting the healthy development of Wuhu international language environment, humanities environment construction, and promoting Wuhu city civilized image and its soft power.
