摘  要:该文运用课堂观察法,对广东省首届高职高专院校英语教师教学技能大赛决赛的教学录像进行研究,调查现行高职英语课堂教学模式。得出结果显示:课堂以"学生为中心"或运用建构主义的学习理论开展教学;多数教师采用任务教学法开展教学,模拟职场情景,激发学生学习积极性;课堂教学以培养学生英语应用能力为主线,注重听说能力培养。针对调查结果,笔者探讨了工学结合、能力本位指导思想下高职英语课堂教学新模式需要注意的问题。This paper examines the videos of 18 contestants recorded in the 2010 First English Teaching Contest for Guangdong Higher Vocational Colleges by classroom observation and tries to find out the current classroom teaching models at higher vocational colleges with the new teaching situation.The survey results show: The classroom teaching is carried out on the basis of Student-oriented theory and the learning theory of constructivism;most teachers use task-based teaching to stimulate the students’strong interests in learning by designing tasks and offering career situations;The classroom teaching in vocational colleges aims to cultivate the practical abilities of students,focusing on the listening and speaking abilities.Based on the results,the author makes a further discussion on the issues of performing the new classroom teaching model in the context of"Job-learning-combined,Ability-oriented"teaching concept.
