摘　　要：探讨《通用汉语著者号码表》难以推广的症结所在及深层次原因,并提出加速推广的具体对策。The Directory of All - Purpose Chinese Authors' Numbers has been published for eight years, but now there are few libraries to use the directory throughout the country. This paper inquires into the reasons and puts forward some concrete counter- measures to popularize the directory rapidly.
