摘　　要：文章主要介绍了泰特勒的翻译三原则,并且把翻译家严复著名的翻译标准"信、达、雅"与泰特勒的翻译三原则进行比较分析,论述为什么泰特勒的翻译理论比较适合对英汉小说的译本进行比较研究。并且得出结论,在评价文学著作译本的过程中,泰特勒的翻译三原则比严复的"信、达、雅"更容易,更适合,也更具有可操作性。The article mainly introduces Tytler＇s Three Principles, makes a comparative analysis oi the translator Yah Fu＇s famous translation standard ＂Faithfulness, Expressiveness and Elegance＂ and Tytler＇s Three Principles, and Principles are easier, more suitable and more operable than Yah Fu＇s translation theory, i.e. ＂Faithfulness, Expres- siveness and Elegance＂.
