摘  要:目前英美文学课程是我国高校英语专业主修课程之一。其旨在于增强学生文学兴趣,提高学生文化修养,养成学生人文关怀精神。然而,在实际的教学过程中,往往以教师的知识传授,学生被动接受为主,整门课程流于形式,止于肤浅。鉴于此,笔者试图借鉴西方后现代主义思潮,以小廉威姆E.多尔的后现代教育思想为理论指导,对英美文学课程建设进行探讨。At present, English and for English majored college students in American literature, and improve their American Literature Course is one of the most important compulsory courses China. The aim of this course is to increase students' interest in cultural cultivation, as well as their spirit of human concern. English and However, in practical teaching and learning process, teachers extremely emphasize the basic knowledge on authors, their masterpieces etc. ,whereas students accept the knowledge passively,which lead to an alarming result. Seeing that,the author tries to study the Postmodemism which originated from the western world, and carry on profound reflection on the English and American literature curriculum construction based on theories of William E. Dolls'" Post Modem Perspective on Curriculum".
