摘 要:有别于"韦伯命题"所指向的新教伦理的含义,新教工作伦理已成为一个被置于多元化文化背景下的研究对象,它已不再仅仅被视为虔诚教徒所信奉的宗教教义,有了更为宽泛的内涵和导向。大量研究结果表明,在不同的社会文化背景下都能找到新教工作伦理的特质和元素,儒家文化是中国传统文化的精髓,儒家工作伦理与新教工作伦理有着相通之处。马克思主义是中国社会主义意识形态的灵魂,马克思主义的工作伦理在构成要素和作用形态上与新教工作伦理也有很多共性成分。可见新教工作伦理具有跨文化公度性。通过工作伦理的跨文化比较研究,可使儒家工作伦理和马克思主义工作伦理得到更深入的了解和推广,从而有利于培养企业家队伍、促进企业文化建设和人力资源管理,有利于培育社会公德,弘扬传统美德,提升职业道德。Although Weber' s original thesis emphasized elements of Protestantism, the concept of a Protestant Work Ethic (PWE)is now used without religious connotations to describe people who place work at or near the centre of their lives and has been studied cross - culturally in a broader scope. The findings of many studies have indicated that there is a functional analogue to the "Protestant Work Ethic" in different societies and cultures. The purpose of this study is to find that there is a functional analogue of Protestant Work Ethic both in Confucian which is the es- sence of Chinese traditional culture and in Maxism which is the soul of Chinese socialistic ideology. Therefore, there is commensurability among variety cultures in Protestant Work Ethic. The results of this paper would make both Confucian work ethic and Maxism work ethic studied deeply and popularized widely by comparing work ethic cross -culturally so as to foster entrepreneur team, to construct enterprise culture, to enhance the level of human re- sources management, to breed social morals, to propagate traditional virtues and to enhance work ethic.
