摘 要:国际证书课程是20世纪60年代由国际文凭组织发起的旨在为国际流动家庭子女及全世界学习动机强烈的中学生统一设计的两年制大学预科课程。该课程为学生在不同国家之间转学提供便利,获得世界各国高校的认可和青睐,也是美国用于衔接中学与中学后教育,帮助学生实现不同教育阶段过渡,吸引优秀生源的重要策略。北美地区占有国际证书课程的半壁江山,美国更是其中的主阵地。高水准的国际证书课程让其参与者更具挑战性和进取精神,不仅对学生升入大学有帮助,还能培养学生良好的学习习惯,因此,国际证书课程在世界范围内日益受到各个国家教育部门的重视并迅速发展壮大。International Baccalaureate Programs implemented by the International Baccalaureate Organization since the 1960s are considered as the two-year college preparatory courses for the children in the international mobility families and the high school students with strong motivation. The program have facilitated the students to transfer different countries,and it has received worldwide recognition and favor of universities. Meanwhile, it is an important strategy of linking the secondary education and post- secondary education, helping students achieve the transition between different educational stages as well as attracting outstanding students in America. International Baccalaureate Programs with high-level standards which have made its participants even more challenging and enterprising, not only help students enter college,but also help them to develop some good habits. Therefore ,the International Baccalaureate Programs have growing much more attention in the worldwide education sectors and have developed rapidly.
