摘　　要：Zaleplon was synthesized through condensation of N-(3-acetylphenyl)acetamide(6) with dimethylformamide dimethylacetal(2), alkylation with ethyl bromide and then cyclization with 3-aminopyrazole-4-carbonitrile(4) at 50℃ in acetic acid and water. 2 and 4 were prepared from DMF and malononitrile respectively.
