摘  要:本文搜集2008—2010年东方财富网股吧的数据,构建了公司网络关注度,高管网络关注度和高管薪酬的网络负面评论三个层次的指标作为网络舆论的度量,并据此研究了网络舆论对于公司高管薪酬的作用。研究发现:(1)网络"股吧"中的中小投资者对于高管薪酬相当关注;(2)网络"股吧"的中小投资者对公司和高管的关注以及关于高管薪酬的负面评论会对高管薪酬产生抑制作用;(3)与传统舆论相比,网络舆论对高管薪酬的影响范围更为广泛。In the modern knowledge-based economy and the inibrmation society, internet has gradually become the major channel for people to access to the news and information. It has become more and more powerful in every day life. Our paper collects the message posted on the stock message boards of "East Fortune" website and constructs proxies measuring the public opinion on internet, including the internet managers' attention and the internet negative comments about managers' compensa- tion etc. , to exam the effect of interuet public opinion to executive compensation. We find that : ( 1 ) Internet public opinion re- tains highly attention about the executive compensation. (2)lnternet attention and the internet negative comments about manag- ers' compensation have significant effects on the change of executive compensation. (3) Compared to the traditional media, interuet has a more deeply and extra effect on the executive compensation.
