摘 要:采用实证研究的形式分析大学英语四级考试写作中的词汇运用丰富性与写作质量的关系。结果显示:大学生在写作文本长度方面个体差异显著,高分组学生相对能写出更多的内容;低分组学生T单位长度更长,但是T单位正确率远不及高分组学生,T单位正确率与写作质量显著正相关;低分组英语基础薄弱,存在较多的词汇错误,词汇错误与写作成绩呈显著负相关性;高、低分组学生都偏向于重复使用简单词汇,复杂词汇的使用极少,词汇变化度和词汇复杂率差异细微。Empirical analysis is adopt, d to research the relationship between lexical richness and the quality of English compositions in Band 4 College English Test, The results show that the subjects vary greatly in text length and the high-score team tend to write more; low-score team employs longer T-unit, but the ratio of correct T-unit which highly correlates with writing quality is far less than that of high-score team; in low-score team, subjects with poor English make more lexical errors, and lexical error has a highly negative correlation with composition quality; both teams tend to use simple words repeatedly instead of advanced words, so the ratio of type/token and that of advanced words/ simple words are minimum.
