摘 要:本文在回顾语言学传信范畴和话题已有研究的基础上,总结了汉语会话话题的特征及其生成的三个阶段,对汉语传信范畴进行了界定和分类,并采用会话分析的方法考察了汉语传信范畴在会话话题生成的不同阶段的表现和功能。传信范畴是汉语会话话题生成的一种策略,它在会话话题生成过程中具有交互性,汉语传信表达是一种动态的交际活动。本文提倡将语言范畴的意义和表达形式的研究植根于真实的言语会话之中。Based on the overview of current studies on evidentiality and topic,we summarize the features of the conversational topic and three stages of topic-generating,as well as the definition and classification of evidentiality in Chinese. The approach of Conversation Analy sis is adopted in this study to examine the behaviors and functions of evidentials in the three stages of topic-generating. By analyzing naturally occurring interaction materials, it is found that evidentiality is used as a strategy for topic-generating in mandarin conversation and the use of evidentials is a collaborative activity. The interface study of Chinese evi dentiality and conversational-topic-generating has implication that the study of forms and meanings of language categories should be rooted in the naturally occurring data.
