摘  要:我国现代高等教育萌发于洋务学校的创办,高等教育教师的身份确认经历了洋务学校创办、清末高等教育机构的建立和《癸卯学制》的制定以及民初高等教育教师政策的制定几个阶段。在高等教育教师政策向现代迈进的每一次,其待遇问题也在向更加合理和独立方向发展一次。高等教育教师待遇同样走过了从模糊到清晰的过程,在北洋政府时期形成了较为合理的纵向薪俸职级结构。其制度化更加提高了高等教育教师自身的专业化程度,待遇和身份地位的确立之间相辅相成,相得益彰。The establishment of China's modern higher education resulted from the schools founded in the West-ernization Movement, and the confirmation of the identity of teachers in higher education has undergone such stages as the founding of the Westernized schools, the establishment of institutions of higher education in the late Qing Dynasty, the Kuimao Educational System and the policy of higher education teachers in the beginning of the Republic of China. Each time the policy advances towards a modern system, the treatment issues are also to become more rational and in- dependent. The treatment of teachers in higher education has also covered from the vague to the clear process and formed a relatively reasonable salary rank structure vertically in the Northern Government. The institutionalization has further improved the specialized degree of teachers in higher education, and the establishment of the treatment and the status complements each other.
