摘　　要：图式理论在独立学院大学英语听力教学中意义重大。图式是知识储存于大脑中所形成的网状结构。英语听力理解是把学习者所听到的新材料融合于已经掌握的图式中的过程。由于独立学院英语听力教学的特点,更需要图式理论带来教学模式和教学方法的改变,以提高独立学院英语听力的教学效果。Schema Theory is of great significance in the teaching of college English listening in independent colleges. A schema is a net formed by the knowledge stored in the brain. English lis- tening comprehension is the process of integrating the new mate- rials heard into the schemata already existing in the brain of the listener. Because of the characteristics of their teaching of English listening, Schema Theory is in greater demand in independent colleges, so as to bring about changes in teaching model and method and thus to improve the effect of teaching.
