英汉量词对比及其等效翻译策略

摘　　要：量词是语言中不可忽视的重要词类。汉语的量词比英语的要发达得多,几乎每一个名词都有一个与之相对应的量词;英语的量词并非都比汉语的简单,有的用法甚至还比较复杂。本文试将汉英两种量词加以对比并在此基础上探讨了双语转换的等效翻译方法,以期对英汉比较研究及翻译教学有所裨益。Classifier is the quantity of noun, while in an important part of language. Each Chinese classifier has its own word to express English , it is not the case. It is a little more difficult and complex. This article expounds some characteristics of the Chinese words which express the quantity of noun and that of unit noun in English and offers a comparison of the grammatical classifications and respective features between them with dis- cussions on different ways of equivalent translations in order to guide the comparative study of Chinese and Eng- lish and translation teaching.
