高校英语专业语言学课程现状与问题的探讨

摘　　要：随着社会经济发展和地方教育体制改革步伐的加快,以英语语言学课程为代表的高校英语专业高年级专业课普遍存在课程设置的矛盾性、教材选用缺乏因材施教性、先进教学理念的缺失性及多媒体使用误区的普遍性等问题。针对地方高校英语语言学课程现状,尝试以多媒体网络技术为基础,以建设完善省级精品课为依托,通过对教学内容,教学方法和评价体系等一系列改革,提出建构新型语言学教学模式的构想,以期能改善语言学课程教学现状,提高教学质量。The paper aims at explaining how the course of linguistics may contribute to the cultivation of English majors language proficiency and more important to the development of student＇ s logic and rational faculty. The emphasis on theoretical knowledge impartment and neglect of students ability development have led up to various deficiencies in teaching content and teaching method- ology. After proving the necessity of this course to English majors, the paper proposes a series of suggestions for its improvement.
