从《现代汉语词典》中的音译词看英语对汉语的影响

摘　　要：《现代汉语词典》(第6版)吸收了234个源自英语的音译词。音译它们时还创造了58个新字,并给一些原有的汉字增加了新义、新音、新调。一些词已变成了十分活跃的构词语素。The Contemporary Chinese Dictionary （the sixth edition） has absorbed 234 transliterated words from English. In transliterating them, the dictionary has invented 58 Chinese characters and added new senses, new pro- nunciations and new tones to some original Chinese characters. Some words have become very active word -forming elements.
