摘　　要：保罗·奥斯特是一位多才多艺的美国作家,他的写作手法独特,往往采用故事套故事和反传统侦探小说的技巧。在特定的叙事语境中,以偶发事件导致人物生存处境发生变化,人生境遇发生改变来描写人物,塑造了一个个迷失自我,又寻找自我的人物形象。离奇的人物形象,有限的生活空间,诡异的故事情节,这一切在《玻璃城》和《密室中的旅行者》中表现得尤为突出。Paul Auster, with a unique writing style, is a versatile American writer, who is re- markable for his stories in stories and anti-traditional detective novels. He creates characters who lose themselves and try to find themselves though accidents leading to changes in living conditions in a particular the narrative context. Bizarre characters, limited living space, strange stories are the prominent common {eatures o{ Glass City and Travels in the Scriptorium.
