摘　　要：虽然荀学对儒学及中国传统文化影响深远,但学者对其研究一直不够。就《荀子》一书来看,自唐代杨倞作注后,宋、元至明代中期,学者的训释及勘刻极少。直到清乾嘉时期,在考据学的推动下,《荀子》一书才在版本、文字训诂与考释等方面有所突破,郝懿行、王先谦等人的研究获得了较大的成就。20世纪初期,关于《荀子》的研究进入全面发展期,刘师培、梁启雄等人对其进行了较为精要的校勘与评述。建国后,研究的规模盛况空前,虽然取得的成果比较全面系统,但仍存在许多弊病与不足,并未实现对前人的全面超越。Though Xunzi and his theory exert strong influences on Chinese traditional culture,the researches on Xunzi is still not enough. In terms of the book Xunzi,the researchers＇ annotation and publications on it had been very few during Song,Yuan and Ming Dynasties since Yang Jing＇s comments on Xunzi appeared in Tang Dynasty. Promoted by textology in Qianjia period of Qing Dynasty,the researches on the book Xunzi made a breakthrough in published versions and textual explanations,Hao Yixing and Wang Xianqian＇s works are representatives at that time. In the early 20th century,the researches on Xunzi got an all-round development,Liu Shipei and Liang Qixiong made a comprehensive textual correction and review on it in that period. The researches have been prosperous since the founding of the PRC, the research results have become comprehensive and systematical,but there are still many problems and shortcomings,for example,the relevant researches nowadays can not surpass the predecessors completely.
