不是顺应而是坚守:重温大学的价值

摘　　要：自由不仅是大学的永恒价值,而且就是大学本身;虚静是大学自由的条件,自由在那里选择与挣扎,派生出人才培养、科学研究与服务社会等职能;顺应本该是创造的绵延,是历史的绵延,是关系的绵延,是大学自由联结社会的自然状态;然而,绩效主义使大学在顺应中媚俗、逃离与浮躁,这是大学不能承受的生命之轻;回归大学的价值世界,需坚持如下三个立场:虚静是衡量大学自由与否的核心指标,包容与爱是实现大学自由的操作形式,放权、立法与厚生是实现大学自由的基本保障。Not only is freedom the eternal value of university, but also university is itself; tranquility is the condi- tion of university freedom, freedom is selecting and struggling in university, personnel training, scientific research and so- cial service functions derive from freedom; following should be the stretches of creation, history, and relations, following is a natural state, which freedom of university can connect society; however, performancism make university adulation, evacuation and impetuousness, which make university can not bear; if we want to return the value of university, it is neeessary to adhere to three positions as follows： tranquility is the core indicators, it is used to measure whether university is free or not, tolerance and love is a form of operation, which can realize freedom of university, decentralization, legislation and great virtue is basic guarantee, which can realize freedom of university.
