摘　　要：源起于美国小学校运动的9年级新生学院是针对新生过渡困难而开设的。美国高一新生面临的过渡问题主要表现为更高的缺勤率、更低的学业成就、更频繁的违纪事件,新生学院有自己的结构、团队概念,并依据学生特点提供额外的机会,而严格的课程、课程与学生的相关性以及融洽的人际关系是新生学院的基本要素。The ninth grade freshman academy in America is built to help new students make the transition. Transitions problems of American high school＇s new students are mainly about higher rate of absenteeism,lower academic achievement,higher discipline referrals. Academies are defined by their structure,the teaming concepts,and the additional opportunities they offer students due to their features. The rigorous curriculum,relevance between curriculum and students,and harmonious interpersonal relationships are the essential elements of the Freshman Academy.
