大学英语教学中的西方文化渗透

摘　　要：文化是一个国家或民族经过长时间积淀下来的,包含着传统习俗、文学艺术、价值观念、历史地理等内容。而语言和文化是绝对不能孤立存在的。正是由于语言和文化这种密不可分的关系,尤其在大学英语的教学中,对于西方文化的学习是必不可少的。文章分析了现行大学英语教学中文化渗透的现状,并提出了几点建议,希望对解决目前存在的问题有所启发。Culture is the accumulation of traditional custom,literature and art,values,history,geography within a country or a nation over a long time.The language and culture can not exist in isolation.It is because of the inseparable relationship of language and culture,and the study of western culture is indispensable,especially in college English teaching.In this paper,the author analyzes the current situation of cultural permeation in college English teaching,and puts forward some suggestions,expecting to help solve the existing problems.
