摘　　要：从文化差异的角度研究英汉习语不等值现象,主要从地理环境、饮食习惯、民俗风情等各方面充分了解习语背后隐藏的深层文化,以便进行更好的翻译,达到有效交流的目的。The non-equivalence between Chinese and English idioms was analyzed from the angles of cul-tural differences in this paper. Studying idioms from aspects of geographical environment, dietary habits, national customs and historical allusions may help to understand the culture deeply and translate the idi-oms properly in the communication.
