摘　　要：应用型外语人才培养要以服务于地方经济与社会发展为目标,这也是应用型地方本科院校人才培养的思路。现有应用型外语人才培养存在诸多问题,如培养目标不明晰、课程设置不科学、教学方法滞后、师资力量跟不上等。而要改变这种现状,就必须优化现行的人才培养目标、课程教学体系、教学方法与手段、高校行政管理机制等,以真正培养高质量的应用型外语人才。For applied local colleges or universities, developing the applied talents of foreign language should be aimed at serving the local economic and the social development. There are many problems in developing the applied talents of foreign language. For in-stance, the developing goal is not clear; the curriculum system is not scientific; the teaching method is out of date and there are not e-nough qualified teachers. In order to improve the situation, it’s necessary to optimize the teaching goal, the curriculum system; the teach-ing method and teaching and administrative management mechanism.
