摘  要:美国文化多样性日益凸显,多元文化教师教育理念与实践较为先进。有关教师多元文化教育资质的认定,各州采取了各不相同的措施来实施认证,主要有三种制度:(1)专门的多元文化教育资质的认证;(2)将多元文化教育资质融入双语教育或以英语作为第二语言教师资质认证;(3)跨文化教育取向的大学专业项目。其成就和经验值得关注,但在观念、管理和培训者等方面也面临诸多挑战。Culture has its special meaning for quality education , and the key of implementing high quality education is teacher . As the cultural diversity in America becomes increasingly prominent , the country is taking the lead in multi-culture teacher education , both theoretically and practically . Different measures are adopted in different states for the accreditation of the M ulti-Cultural education qualifications . T hese fall into three types :1 ) specialized accreditation of M ulti-Cultural education qualifications ; 2 ) incorporating the accreditation of M ulti-Cultural education qualification into the accreditation of bilingual or ESL teacher qualification ; 3 ) special university programs for cross-cultural education . The achievement and experiences already gained deserve much attention . But , it should also be noticed that there are also many challenges concerning concepts , administration , and trainers . Implications can be draw n for the teacher education and appointment in our ethnic minority areas .
