摘　　要：外宣翻译是城市对外宣传的重要手段,然而调查表明张家口市的外宣翻译存在诸多问题。从文本功能分类理论出发,针对调查中出现的问题进行分析研究,归纳总结其产生的原因,探讨外宣资料应遵循的翻译策略与原则,以达到提高城市外宣翻译质量的目的,为我市经济发展与文化宣传做出贡献。International publicity translation is an important communication means to publicize the city. But the investigation shows that there are many problems in the international publicity translation in Zhangjiakou. Based on the text typology, this paper analyzes the causes of these problems and puts forward the corresponding strategies and principles in translation of materials for international publicity so as to improve the quality of urban international publicity translation and contribute to the economic development and cultural promotion in our city.
