摘　　要：少数民族文学、文化典籍是中国文学和文化的重要组成部分,是人类珍贵的非物质文化遗产。把我国少数民族典籍翻译成世界上使用最广泛的语言——英语,让广大的英语读者了解我国少数民族的文化典籍,使之走向世界,是我们外语界和翻译界义不容辞的责任。本文从译作数量、译者队伍、、理论研究、资金状况等几个方面对我国少数民族典籍英译的现状进行了分析,同时针对这些现状提出了一些建议,以期起到抛砖引玉的作用,以唤起更多专家学者对我国民族典籍翻译英译研究的重视。Minority literature, cultural ancient books is an important part of Chinese literature and culture; it is a precious intangible cultural heritage. Translating them into the most widely used language in the world -- English, enables the culture of the ethnic minorities in our country to be better understood by the English readers, and to be known to the world. This is an obligation of the scholars in foreign languages and translation circles. Based on several aspects, namely, the number of translation, translators team, theoretical research, financial conditions and so on to, the paper analyzes the status quo of English translation of Chinese minorities classics in our country, at the same time, puts forward some suggestions in order to attract more experts and scholars to the research of the national classics translation research in China.
