摘　　要：For a finite spectrum X, we prove the existence of a nonnilpotent element v inExitA(H*(X),H*(X))paralleled to the vanishing line which is a permanent cycle in the Adamsspectral sequence. We use this result to give a proof of Margolis'construction of killing pt-ho-mology groups,for all primes,in the category of bounded below spectra.
