摘　　要：中国是一个海洋大国,开发和利用海洋,发展海洋经济和海洋事业,对我国的经济发展和社会进步,都具有十分重要的战略意义,加强海洋教育势在必行。高校作为教育的重要基地,担负着海洋教育的重要职责,由于开设海洋相关专业的院校有限,所以海洋教育普及不能仅仅依靠专业教育解决。通识教育已在大学教育中占有日益重要的地位和作用,海洋教育可以在通识教育中得以实现,要建立长期稳定的海洋通识教育体制,以培养和提升大学生的海洋意识。The development and utilization of marine have a very important strategic significance to China's economic development and social progress.It is no doubt in the importance of strengthening marine education and raising people's marine awareness.Colleges and universities are charged with the important duty of the marine education.Due to the limitation in quantity of the marine-related professional institutions,the popularity of marine education can not simply rely on professional education to solve.General education occupies an increasingly important position and role in the university education.Marine education can be achieved in the mode of general education in higher education.The mechanism of marine general education in colleges and universities should be established in order to cultivate and enhance the marine awareness of college students.
