功能对等理论在英文歌词汉语古译中的应用——以英文歌曲Someone Like You为例

摘　　要：英文歌词翻译成中国古诗形式是近年来对英文歌词的一种创新性译法,其审美价值与读者效应极高。音乐歌词与中国古典诗歌都具有极高的艺术相似性,尤金·奈达的"功能对等"理论中的意境对等、风格对等和读者反映对等对英文歌词古译具有一定的启发意义。意境对等是对原作精神的领悟,风格对等是对原作审美上艺术的保留,而读者反映对等是对原作的观众效果的实现。本文试将从功能对等理论的以上三个主要方面对风靡全球的英文歌曲Someone Like You的古译版歌词进行分析,阐释这一视角在英文歌曲古译实践中所体现的可行性与独创性。In recent years, translating English lyrics into Chinese classical poetry is a kind of creative means for the translation of English lyrics with fairly high aesthetic value and reader effect.Due to the high art;the equivalence of reader effect is the realization of the original readers＇response .Taking the three aspects mentioned above in functional equivalence theory as the framework, this article will make an analy- sis of the lyrics of a world-popular English song Someone Like You which has been translated into Chinese classical poetry.It tries to elucidate the feasibility and ingenuity in translating English lyrics into Chinese classical poetry.
