基于语料库的译者风格研究--词汇型式化在《尤利西斯》汉译本中的体现

摘　　要：以《尤利西斯》汉译本为个案研究,本文通过对比萧乾与金隄的《尤利西斯》汉译本,结合萧乾的汉语原创作品,对《尤利西斯》汉译本体现的译者词汇型式化风格进行研究,旨在探索把译者风格从原作者风格和所谓的"翻译腔"中有效识别出来的语料库途径。研究方法是首先利用WordSmith工具的关键词表功能,重点对比词表中的语气词和动词,然后将所发现的用词差异与参照库相对照。研究发现萧乾在其《尤利西斯》汉译本中体现出一些个性化的用词倾向,而且这些词汇型式化倾向也体现在其原创小说中。Using the Chinese versions of Ulysses as a case study, this article is aimed to find an effective corpus- based way to distinguish translator＇s style from authorial style and ＂translationese＂. Based on comparison between the Chinese translations of Ulysses by Xiao Qian and Jin Di as well as Xiao＇s creative Chinese compositions, texts included in the self-built Corpus of Xiao Qian＇s Transla- tions and Compositions ,this article focuses on translator＇s style manifested in lexical patterning. The method adopted is, firstly, comparing words, especially emotional words and verbs in the keyness lists generated by WordSmith Tools, and then contrasting the differences with reference corpora. The study reveals that some distinctive idiosyn- cratic lexical patterning in Xiao＇s version of Ulysses, and that such lexical idiolect also exists in Xiao＇s Chinese compositions.
